The Silverstone Technology Cluster, supported by founding member Silverstone Park and member Jaltek, will once again host the VIP Lounge at this year’s Advanced Engineering Show (AES) at NEC, Birmingham.
The event (1-2 November) is the UK’s largest annual exhibition and conference for advanced manufacturers and supply chain professionals and attracts close to 15,000 visitors.
2023 will mark the fifth time that the STC (with Silverstone Park) has hosted the VIP Lounge – a prime meeting place for businesses to catch up and discuss their plans.
“As a founding member of the STC, we’re delighted to be partnering once more with the Cluster organisation at AES 2023,” commented MEPC’s Ruth Williams, Asset Manager at Silverstone Park.
“With further industrial development at Silverstone Park under discussion, the VIP Lounge enables us to discuss plans with potential occupiers who are looking for an attractive setting to help achieve their growth ambitions.
“The Lounge is also a great place to make business introductions to many of our occupiers – some innovating in a variety of technologies, others providing the valuable professional services that support those sectors.”
Having expanded both the VIP Lounge’s scope in 2022 as well as the accompanying STC Innovation Zone for members to showcase their specialist capabilities, plans are currently under way to go even further in 2023.
STC CEO Pim van Baarsen said: “Silverstone Park’s support for the STC organisation and the business activity within the cluster has been there since day one.
“We are really thankful to Silverstone Park for once more supporting us at AES 2023, enabling the STC to expand its presence and reach even further at a such a high-profile fixture for the UK and global high-tech communities. Watch this space for further details…”
