In this role, you will leverage your expertise in automotive electrical and electronic procurement to work closely with cross-functional teams ensuring a seamless supply chain and optimal sourcing of materials. You will drive effective procurement strategies and implement cost-effective practices through drawing on your in-depth understanding of harness engineering drawings, schematics, PCB manufacturing files and Bills of Materials.
Ideally you will be qualified to (or be working towards) CIPS Level 4 or hold an HNC/HND equivalent and have experience with MRP/ERP systems. Your direct experience and knowledge in negotiating quotations and contracts with suppliers and manufacturers of electrical harness and electronic assemblies will manage lead times within a diverse supply chain.
