Wessex Resins, in Romsey, is a leading manufacturer and exporter of specialist epoxy resins with customers throughout the world. As part of our Technical Support Group your focus will be on the three main brands of epoxies WEST SYSTEM®, PRO-SET® and Entropy Resins®. As knowledge grows this will expand to include Wessex and PRO-VAC products also.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual that’s willing to get stuck in and turn their hand to the multiply aspects of the role. Someone with a thirst for knowledge that’s a good listener and able to adapt the knowledge they gain. Sharing it freely with customers whilst thinking outside the box, providing solutions to complex technical issues.
The job will entail:
• Discussing and advising customers on technical applications. Via phone and email
• Keeping our CRM system up to date
• Preparing quotations
• Supporting our distributors to service their customers
• Attending exhibitions
• Product testing
• Maintaining the company’s technical literature
• Assisting with workshops the company runs for customers
• Working on general technical, marketing and sales issues with the Head of Sales and Technical Staff. This could range from content creation for marketing to assistance with the implementation of IT systems.
The successful candidate will have experience in the marine industry/environment and knowledge of using epoxy in boat repair and construction. Proficiency with Microsoft office packages is essential. Knowledge of composite materials, construction methods and processes would be an advantage but not critical.
Location: Office Based in Romsey, Hampshire
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 0830 – 1630
Basic Salary: £25,000-£30,000 experience dependant

Holiday: Starts at 20 days plus bank holidays. 1 additional day gained per year of service up to a maximum of 5 additional days giving a total of 25.
