We are now recruiting for a Team Lead Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of Battery and HV System projects within the Powertrain department to ensure they are delivered on time, in budget and to the agreed quality standard.

The role involves overseeing subsystem design reviews, approving design evidence, and ensuring documentation meets safety and reliability standards. Responsibilities include approving Statements of Work and Interface Agreements, serving as a subject matter expert, supporting project proposals, and releasing designs for manufacture. The successful candidate will present design concepts, review Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and maintain engineering standards. They will also manage design validation testing, support professional development within the team, research new technologies, and comply with health and safety policies

Department as a “Technical Advisor, Exhibitions & Events Assistant”

Key responsibilities include: discussing and advising customers on technical
applications; maintaining CRM systems; liaising with distributors; attending exhibitions;
product testing; assisting with product training; working with marketing on content
creation & collaborating with the sales team for customer support. Mon-Fri office based.

We are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Executive. Reporting to the UK Sales Manger, you will identify and drive new business in the Advanced Materials business unit.

Responsibilities

Create a business development plan with the UK Sales Manager for the Advanced Materials business unit.
To manage and develop new and current accounts. Gaining approval for Cristex’s offerings.
Preparation of quotes / sampling and subsequently follow ups.
Liaise with various manufacturing units throughout the World.
Attendance at appropriate trade shows and presentations.
Overseas visits to various sites around the World.
Liaise with our internal sales support team to ensure customers support is maintained at the highest level.
Achieve/exceed agreed Sales Targets.

An exciting opportunity for a Test Support Engineer has arisen in Testia Ltd Filton. You will work
within the Testia customer structures test centre based in Bristol, UK.

The Job holder puts together all constituent elements of the Test Setup (specimen, rig, loading
devices, and Data Acquisition); is proficient in the operation of workshop equipment (inc. Lathes,
Milling Machines, Pillar Drills etc.), including ability to perform welding in various materials and ensure
efficient test performance.

Toolmaker / Manual Machinist

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the Boneham team, operating and setting manual lathes, hand presses and power presses.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have at least 5 years’ experience in setting and operating manual lathes, milling & grinding machines and ideally be apprentice trained
• Be experienced in the setting and operating of power presses
• Be familiar with working with stainless steel, brass, aluminium, and titanium; (thicknesses as low as 0.025mm (0.001”) up to 6.35mm (1/4”) thickness)
• Work to tight tolerances such as our standard shim tolerances are +/-0.004” (+/-0.010mm).
• Manufacture to engineering drawings, with an ability to work to imperial and metric dimensions
• Be experienced in using verniers, micrometres

Yardperson and Effluent Plant Operator

Main Responsibilities
Monitoring and reporting
Taking daily utilities meter readings
Assisting with store stock takes as required.
Carry of daily, Weekly and monthly standard work to include routine daily checks and cleaning of the production oiling bay and degreasing plant.
Effluent:

Daily start up and shutdown of both plants.
Running of the filter press, draining of settlement tanks, monitoring of the ‘V’ notch tank.
Regeneration of the de-min plant.
Ensure all the reagent tanks are ‘topped up’ to ensure compliant running of these plants.
Environmental:

Daily start up and shutdown of both plants.
Aid in the monitoring of all environmental aspects including carrying out utilities meter readings (Water, Gas, and Electricity)
Aid in ensuring the company is compliant with all regulatory requirements including EPR (Environmental Permitting Regulations) and Discharge Consents.
Perform other regular daily/weekly checks as required.
