The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing processes within our composite production facility. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in composite materials and manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient and effective operation of the production line, maintaining high-quality standards, optimizing productivity, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

We are seeking two Production Operatives to join our team in Whetstone, Leicester. You will be carrying out the day-to-day operation of the raw materials production line for our industry-leading tooling board materials. This includes completing final finishing processes and quality inspections to ensure our end products meet the very highest standards and all quality assurances are met.

A production operative will be responsible for their daily Production output, including Masking of components, loading of jigging, carrying out and monitoring the electroplating/anodizing processes in accordance with processing requirements.

The Project Engineer is responsible and accountable for planning, executing, and closing Projects. They define the project, build a comprehensive work plan, and then manage to the budget. The core function will be to collaborate with other functions within the business to implement new projects.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
Ownership and proactive delivery of Project KPI’s (QCT).
Maintain understanding and visibility of the Vehicle development status against its performance metrics (quality cost timing KPI’s), and communicate to line management and Assistant Chief Vehicle Engineer accordingly taking recovery actions where necessary
Lead the preparation for Milestone Meetings, working proactively and cross functionally with all stakeholders to ensure a good understanding of the development status and prepare recovery plans where necessary.
To coordinate cross functional & cross cultural global Alliance activities.
Use strong analytical skills alongside technical knowledge to prepare, develop and review engineering proposals and schedules
Promote, support and liaise with R&D engineering sections to: share project information, progress engineering concern resolution, facilitate cross-functional problem solving and manage project manpower against budgets.

Your responsibilities will include producing and documenting design evidence, creating work instructions, and conducting functional and installation checks on prototypes. You will also develop customer documentation for safe usage and maintenance, release designs for manufacturing, and present design concepts to stakeholders. You will be degree qualified with experience of engineering of automotive or motorsport systems/components as part of an OEM, tier 1 supplier, enginering consultancy or motorsport team. You will have experience of mechanical design of high voltage battery assemblies.
