Production Manager

The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing processes within our composite production facility. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in composite materials and manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient and effective operation of the production line, maintaining high-quality standards, optimizing productivity, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Production Operative

A production operative will be responsible for their daily Production output, including Masking of components, loading of jigging, carrying out and monitoring the electroplating/anodizing processes in accordance with processing requirements.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Responsible for your own output to achieve set targets
Ensuring the work area is kept clean and tidy
Conforming to all compliance requirements involved in processing components

Project Management Engineer

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
Ownership and proactive delivery of Project KPI’s (QCT).
Maintain understanding and visibility of the Vehicle development status against its performance metrics (quality cost timing KPI’s), and communicate to line management and Assistant Chief Vehicle Engineer accordingly taking recovery actions where necessary
Lead the preparation for Milestone Meetings, working proactively and cross functionally with all stakeholders to ensure a good understanding of the development status and prepare recovery plans where necessary.
To coordinate cross functional & cross cultural global Alliance activities.
Use strong analytical skills alongside technical knowledge to prepare, develop and review engineering proposals and schedules
Promote, support and liaise with R&D engineering sections to: share project information, progress engineering concern resolution, facilitate cross-functional problem solving and manage project manpower against budgets.

Quality and Technical Support Engineer

We are a busy, and rapidly growing, sourcing company, operating in the mechanical engineering / manufacturing market sector. We specialise in sourcing and supplying bespoke mechanical components and sub assemblies, manufactured to drawing.

Reporting to the Engineering and Quality Manager, you will work closely with both our UK team and China and Vietnam offices. The role is varied and interesting with the opportunity for considerable international travel for the right candidate.

Quality Technician

Ensure all data is handled and stored with due regard to confidentiality.

Senior Electrical Technician

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Powertrain)

We are looking to expand our Mechanical Design team within our Powertrain department and have a vacancy for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. Your responsibilities will include producing and documenting design evidence, creating work instructions, and conducting functional and installation checks on prototypes. You will also develop customer documentation for safe usage and maintenance, release designs for manufacturing, and present design concepts to stakeholders. Additionally, you will perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and create engineering guides and standards to ensure the development of reliable, cost-effective, and competitive solutions.

You will be degree qualified with experience of engineering of automotive or motorsport systems/components as part of an OEM, tier 1 supplier, enginering consultancy or motorsport team. You will have experience of mechanical design of high voltage battery assemblies.

Experienced composite professional, demonstrable experience in pre-preg hand layup techniques, 10+ years’ experience.
Engineering qualification, degree, HND in a relevant subject/discipline
Experience of training, developing, or mentoring of junior colleagues within composites manufacturing.
Experienced in working with and aiding in the development of tooling Composites and composite manufacturing processes.
Experience in a commercial environment, producing quotations, and negotiating with clients.
Knowledge of lean and constant manufacturing principles and tools.
Stakeholder, Customers Relationship Management, and Management skills
PC Proficient, Good MS Word, Excel and Power Point skills and CAD knowledge are an advantage, not essential
