NDT Technician

Job Summary Non-Destructive Testing of components by the Magnetic Particle, Fluorescent Penetrant, Acid Etch inspection methods, Pre-Penetrant Etch, Visual Inspection plus Hardness and Conductivity Testing. Responsibilities Ensuring that work is undertaken in compliance with regulations, manuals, techniques and company policy; Ensuring compliance to Health, Safety and Environmental policies and report any concern to supervision Liaise with the NDT Supervisor as and when required Report any maintenance issues to NDT supervision and management Report to NDT supervision on issues that could affect the running of the process Ensure area is kept to a clean standard and any 5S and Audit actions are actioned Support any actions necessary to improve quality or process improvement Set up equipment, conduct system performance checks and perform tests Raise required Technique Sheets Review NDT specifications Sign off NDT contract reviews Raise Complete NDT AQP’s
