Uplift360 UK is looking for an enthusiastic Chemical Process Engineer to join our sustainable materials company. The individual will be a key member of the Uplift360 research and development team, taking a leading role in the scale-up & industrialisation of our novel chemical recycling technology.
Your core responsibility will be taking our technology from laboratory scale to a pilot scale. As part of this, you will lead the process design, process development, plant design, build and maintain models for energy, environment and economic factors via tools such as ASPEN and Excel. You will also work closely with the R&D team, including performing laboratory-based experiments and fast-paced materials research for the development of circular economic materials processes, including composite and advanced materials recycling. You will report directly to the Product Director, working closely with other team members, including C-suite, where necessary. The right candidate will be enthusiastic about fighting climate change, circular economics, and material technology, with a drive for finding solutions to complex problems.
