Eleven Instro trials are underway with: two global manufacturing businesses (AMADA, Star Micronics GB), 7 UK universities via University Vocational Awards Council (UVAC), sector body British Woodworking Federation and European Commission for the Control of Foot-and-Mouth Disease EuFMD virtual learning provider. Trials are delivering measurable cost & efficiency savings (30% reduction in support calls), productivity improvements (21 on-the-job AMADA engineer hours saved over 4 weeks), compliance, service delivery and quality assurance improvements for universities.
Instro has collaborative partnerships with key industry sector bodies and research partners in advanced manufacturing (Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre AMRC Digital – 120 member companies – covering aerospace, automotive, medical & healthcare manufacturing and construction), steel (British Stainless Steel Association BSSA – 170 member companies) and UK higher education (UVAC – 90 member universities – championing higher vocational education).
