Silverstone Park is a natural home for a number of businesses operating in motorsport – these are either race teams themselves or part of the industry supply chain, particularly in areas such as engineering and manufacturing.
These companies operate at the highest levels of motorsport including F1, World Rally, Le Mans 24hrs and Formula E – (three of the 11 teams in Formula E, the world’s premier electric car racing category, now have bases at Silverstone Park, namely Envision, Kiro and Lola).
Pictured is a Ferrari 296 which FF Corse – one of two specialist Ferrari race teams based at Silverstone Park (the other is AF Corse) – will race in 2025’s British GT Championship.
Notably, many companies at Silverstone Park have their experiences and innovative thinking in the demanding world of motorsport to collaborate and successfully diversify into and win new business in other sectors such as aerospace, automotive, defence, marine and space.
