Nomex®, developed by AHT (Advanced Honeycomb Technologies) can be used in products as diverse as commercial and military aircraft, transportation equipment, space vehicles, construction materials, and sporting goods. Unlike its competitors, the option to use a water-based phenolic resin makes AHT the sustainable choice for Honeycomb – Nomex®.
There are three different types of Honeycomb – Nomex:
– Aerospace Grade Nomex® Honeycomb (AHN4120 Aramid Fibre/Phenolic Coated Honeycomb)
– Commercial Grade Nomex® Honeycomb (AHN7800 Aramid Fibre/Phenolic Coated Honeycomb)
– Kraft Honeycomb (AHK Kraft Paper/Phenolic Coated Honeycomb)
