Silverstone Park is a hub of research, innovation, development and collaboration for advanced engineering and high-tech businesses.
The Park is adjacent to the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit and its location – at the heart of the Silverstone Technology Cluster (STC) and central to both ‘Motorsport Valley’ and the Oxford-Cambridge Arc – make it a natural choice for businesses with growth ambitions.
More than 90 companies are located at Silverstone Park, many with capabilities in advanced engineering, manufacturing, electronics and software development.
Many of them successfully win business and operate in sectors such as aerospace, agritech, automotive, defence, energy, marine, medical and space. A number of them are also part of the UK’s world renowned motorsport supply chain (including F1).
Three phases of industrial development have already been completed at Silverstone Park – each producing striking industrial HQ-style premises set against the backdrop of the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit, each with EPC ‘A’ rating and designed to meet BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standards.
Details of phases 4 and 5 have now been released, whilst developer MEPC continues to create an attractive ‘green spaces’ campus feel, for enjoyment by occupiers, their employees and visitors.
In addition, a potential future skills pipeline is being created thanks to the Silverstone Park Schools Programme that brings tech business volunteers together with local secondary school students to raise awareness about career types and pathways. To date, this programme has reached c.5,000 students and latest figures show that more than two thirds of them would now consider careers in tech as a result.
At AES24, Silverstone Park is partnering with the STC to co-host the VIP Lounge. It is also one of 18 STC business members to be exhibiting as part of the Innovation Zone adjacent to the VIP Lounge.
