Macfarlane Packaging Design & Manufacture has 2 sites, in Westbury and Grantham.
We specialize in designing and manufacturing bespoke packaging solutions for industrial parts, products and equipment.
Predominantly our packaging uses heavy duty corrugated material, timber, and foams. However, the real value we can offer you is combining these materials into a composite pack that offers a level of performance not available anywhere else.
We also supply a range of specialist products, including very large GRP (glass reinforced plastic) cases, ammo tins, pallet boxes, custom size pallets and collars, and TriMite triple wall cardboard.

GWP Protective are one of the largest foam converters in the UK.
Using materials including Plastazote, Stratocell and Ethafoam, our designers and modern manufacturing equipment allows us to create foam inserts and packaging that completely eliminates damage to your items during handling and transit. This includes cutting edge software that calculates the exact foam grade and thickness to protect specific items.
Besides our expertise in foam, we are also one of the UK’s largest sellers of protective cases. This includes waterproof cases (Peli, Explorer, SKB etc.), aluminium cases (Zarges) and lightweight plastic cases (Hofbauer, WAG). We also manufacture bespoke flight cases.
Sourcing your cases and foam together also improves compatibility and performance, whilst reducing your costs and admin.

GWP Correx are the largest independent converter of Correx material (a corrugated plastic) in the UK. We use this material in two distinct ways.
Firstly, we can design and manufacture standard or bespoke returnable packaging solutions. This includes totes, conteiners, boxes and range of inserts and dividers in sizes that optimize your transport, handling and the protection for your components.. This is in addition to being able to customise a range of moulded plastic euro containers.
Switching to returnable packaging of this type can significantly reduce your costs compared with using single trip options, whilst also being more sustainable.
Secondly, we manufacture a range of picking bins for use in warehouse and fulfilment applications. Whilst popular with eCommerce businesses, picking bins are also vital for the safe storage and retrieval of parts and components for manufactures.
